Riyadh Metro launches initiative to promote public transport culture
Instructed by HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, chairman of the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh (HCDR), the High Commission launched on April 11, 2017 an awareness campaign as part of King Abdul Aziz Project for Public Transport in Riyadh (Metro and Buses). The campaign aims to familiarize residents of the capital with the project, boost social partnership and encourage observance of all applicable regulations and etiquettes when using facilities of the project.
As part of the campaign, the HCDR launched an initiative to promote social public transport culture in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The campaign will spread awareness about public transport among male and female students in public schools and universities in the city of Riyadh.
