Riyadh Metro Pavilion attracts STTIM 2016 visitors ‎
29 March, 2016

The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh has participated with a pavilion in the exhibition accompanying the Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market (STTIM 2016), organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from March 27 to April 01 2016. The High Commission’s pavilion showcases King Abdulaziz Project for Riyadh Public Transport (Metro & Buses) innovatively using topographic maps, 3D modelling, and laser lights.

The Riyadh public transport project section featured a huge stage showcasing a large topographic map of Riyadh’s landmarks and attractions as 3D shapes. The laser lights identified the elements and lines of the public transport project and its components in conjunction with visual presentation on a giant screen describing the project and highlighting its benefits to the city and its residents.

The pavilion allowed visitors to familiarize themselves with all components of the metropolitan public transport project through an interactive touch screen providing accurate and detailed information about each of the project’s 85 stations.
