RCRC Concludes Year Two Tawazoun Applications; Results Sept. 30
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has announced the close of the second-year application window for the Real Estate Balance Program (Tawazoun). Eligible citizens submitted applications through the program’s dedicated platform between August 16 and Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
With the application period now closed, RCRC is moving into the eligibility verification phase. Leveraging electronic data integration with relevant government entities, the RCRC will cross-check applicant information to ensure compliance with the program’s approved criteria. Final eligibility results will be published on the Real Estate Balance platform (Tawazoun) on September 30, 2026.
To qualify, applicants must be Saudi nationals who are either married or 25 years of age and older. They must also have no prior real estate ownership and must have resided in Riyadh for at least three years.
An official objection period for eligibility results will open on October 1, 2026. Once objections are resolved, the program will move to its next stages — an electronic draw for qualified applicants, followed by off-plan sales procedures governed by the program’s regulatory framework.
Launched under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Real Estate Balance Program aims to stabilize Riyadh’s real estate sector. By introducing 10,000 to 40,000 planned residential plots annually at a capped price of SAR 1,500 per square meter, the initiative helps bridge the supply-demand gap, expand homeownership access, and foster sustainable urban development across the capital.
RCRC emphasized that the program does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and that initial registration does not equate to final approval. Every application undergoes a comprehensive verification process against the approved eligibility standards.
Applicants are encouraged to monitor their status and upcoming milestones via the Real Estate Balance platform (Tawazoun) and RCRC’s official channels. For further assistance, the unified call center (19998), customer care channels, and the beneficiary center are available to address all program-related inquiries.
