RCRC CEO visits SDAIA headquarters, reviews Smart Riyadh Operations Center
His Excellency Dr Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), received His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, at RCRC’s main building in Riyadh.
His Excellency Al-Sultan was briefed on the National Smart Cities Platform (Smart C) and the Smart Riyad Operations Center (Smart ROC), which uses data and artificial intelligence to monitor, analyze, and forecast operational indicators that serve the development and management of infrastructure and urban services sectors in the city of Riyadh.
His Excellency Al-Sultan appreciated the efforts made by SDAIA to embrace the concept of smart cities and discussed ways of cooperation between the two entities to benefit from data and artificial intelligence and enhance their roles in sustainable development and improving the quality of life in Riyadh.
