RCRC CEO Thanks Leadership for Naming New Mosque in Northern Riyadh After King Abdulaziz
Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, and CEO of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, for the generous directive to name the new mosque in northern Riyadh after King Abdulaziz. The mosque will be constructed on an 88,000-square-meter plot of land.
His Excellency affirmed that the King Abdulaziz Mosque will stand as a prominent landmark in the north of the capital, befitting the stature of the name it bears. The mosque honors the legacy of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, reflecting his profound care for building mosques across the Kingdom.
His Excellency noted that the mosque will offer a wide range of facilities and services, including a library, a Quran memorization school, and open plazas. These amenities will enhance its service to worshippers, residents, and visitors, making the mosque a key component of the integrated urban development advancing in northern Riyadh.
