Environmental Rehabilitation Project for Wadi Namar and Wadi Laban – The Return Journey

RCRC has adopted the protection, rehabilitation and development of the Wadi Hanifa area and its tributaries. It has made it one of its priorities because of the wadis’ great importance and potential to attract diverse investments.

This area, with its sprawling and diverse nature from the north to the south of Riyadh, is considered the lungs of Riyadh and a natural retreat for residents.

This publication documents the return journey of Wadi Namar and Wadi Laban before and after their development and identifies the areas transformed along their route.

The publication details the various aspects of the project in terms of road works, public services, sidewalks, and pathways, as well as afforestation, irrigation and more.
