An expert guide for practitioners in urban design with contributions from secretariats, municipalities, researchers, university students and engineering consultancy offices in Riyadh. The guide aims to provide and improve the design foundations and orientations of pedestrian walkways, junctions, assembly points as well as increase the level of safety of pedestrians. It also establishes controls for the design of roads and urban spaces that consider existing activities and uses, visual aspects and social considerations.
