From the valley’s memory

RCRC has adopted the protection, rehabilitation, and development of Wadi Hanifa, and made it one of its priorities because of the great importance of this area and its greater potential to attract diverse investments. This valley with its forked and sprawling area from north to south of Riyadh can be an amazing natural destination for people.

This publication documents the condition of the valley before and after the environmental rehabilitation project, tracking the milestones of the huge project in halting the deterioration of the wildlife and the accumulation of pollutants; and work on rehabilitation and transformation of the wadi into a green valley of spectacular nature and running water to become one of Riyadh’s distinctive environmental destinations.
