MOU between ADA and General Authority for Statistics

The High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh signed a memorandum of understanding with the General Authority for Statistics (GAFS) to promote their mutual cooperation and coordination, and to expand their strategical partnership to involve exchange of information and statistical data.

The MOU covered coordination in statistical data production and publishing, which applies to the general population and housing census and the economic census conducted by the GAFS, as well as the regular statistical surveys, researches and studies conducted by ADA.

The MoU also helps to promote the comprehensive coordination between the two parties with the aim of setting rules for making statistical databases covering all statistics about Riyadh, enabling automated exchange of data and information, training the national cadres through joint training programs, and promoting public statistical awareness.
