Al-Manahij High School Students in a visit to San’ah TBM

On 21/12/2015, Al-Manahij High School students visited San’ah TBM location as part of ADA’s plan, executed in cooperation with the General Directorate of Education in Riyadh, to spread awareness about King Abdulaziz Public Transport Project in Riyadh, and the benefits it offers to the city and its residents in all aspects of life.

During the visit, Engr. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Essa shared a video presentation on the project with the school faculty and students shedding light on the project, its component and benefits.

Later, ADA’s team escorted the students in a tour at San’ah TBM location in the presence of the head of Student Activity Department at the General Directorate of Education in Riyadh Mr. Anwar Abu Abah. After listening to a detailed explanation about the site’s security and safety procedures, the students put on the safety gear and moved along the TBM tunnel via special trailers that allowed them to explore the tunnel’s components, and public utilities extensions.

At the end of the tunnel, the participants watched the modern technologies and multiple functions of the giant TBM (San’ah), which causes no vibration or noise to the surface while working.
