Riyadh Art Announces Opening of Submissions for Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium 2026
28 August, 2025

Riyadh Art has announced the opening of submissions for the 7th edition of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium 2026, held under the theme “Traces of What Will Be.” The symposium invites sculptors from Saudi Arabia and around the world to submit their artistic proposals, contributing to the evolving cultural and artistic landscape of Riyadh. Applications can be submitted via this link.

The application period runs from August 27 to September 17, 2025, with submissions accepted through the official Riyadh Art program website. A jury of experts will select 25 artists to participate in the 7th edition of the Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium, which will feature a live sculpture experience scheduled for January 2026 and conclude with an art exhibition in February.

The completed works will be distributed across Riyadh, supporting the city’s public art movement in line with Riyadh Art’s mission to promote innovation and inclusivity in the arts. This edition also introduces a new category of sculpture, with artists working in granite and incorporating stainless steel elements, alongside works made from recycled metals, reflecting the symposium’s commitment to sustainability in public art.
