The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), in collaboration with Broadway Entertainment Group, proudly announces the arrival of the highly anticipated global phenomenon “WICKED The Musical” to the Kingdom from December 3 to 20, 2025 at the King Fahad Cultural Center. 

Making its Middle East debut, the legendary musical will launch its regional and GCC tour from Riyadh with an exclusive two-week engagement, a milestone set to be one of the year’s most spectacular highlights, and a reflection of RCRC’s commitment to hosting world-class cultural events.

A true global phenomenon, WICKED is one of the most popular musicals in the world, with multiple productions captivating more than 65 million audience members across 130+ cities in 25 countries. This awe-inspiring new production tells the untold story of the witches of Oz as never before, with over 100 performers, crew, and orchestra members, 350 stunning costumes, in breathtaking sets, as well as show-stopping musical numbers, including “Defying Gravity,” “Popular,” and “For Good.”

WICKED is inspired by the timeless classic The Wizard of Oz, taking place in a wondrous hidden fairyland called Oz. It’s the story of two remarkable young women—one, misunderstood but brilliantly talented and born with emerald-green skin; the other, beautiful, ambitious, and admired. What begins as an unlikely friendship soon becomes a riveting rivalry that shapes their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

WICKED The Musical is produced by Middle East-based theatre production company Broadway Entertainment Group (BEG). Celebrating its 15th anniversary in the Middle East, BEG marks this milestone by bringing WICKED to Riyadh for the very first time. The production is the culmination of a five-year journey from conception to realization, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to delivering world-class theatrical experiences to audiences across the region.
