Street Food Expands with 37 New Experiences in the Heart of Riyadh
The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has announced the launch of the second phase of the Street Food project in the Qasr Al-Hukm area, adding 37 new experiences that offer an even wider variety of tastes and flavors. Building on the success of the first phase, which opened last March, the second phase completes the project, establishing “Street Food” as a vibrant urban destination in the heart of Riyadh. The destination brings together local and international cuisines alongside a diverse range of experiences, further enhancing the area’s appeal as a dynamic destination for residents and visitors.
Following the completion of both phases, the “Street Food” project now features 84 outlets across an area of more than 10,000 square meters. The outlets offer a diverse range of food concepts, blending Saudi flavors with international cuisines. The experience is centered around live, on-site food preparation and brings together restaurants, seating areas, events, shows, and public facilities, offering visitors a dynamic experience with a wide range of options to discover with every visit.
The project benefits from its prime location in the Qasr Al-Hukm area and convenient access via various modes of transportation. Located approximately a three-minute walk from Qasr Al-Hukm Metro Station, it further enhances the vibrancy of the historic heart of Riyadh and enriches the experience of residents and visitors. The project also supports entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises, and local food concepts by providing them with opportunities to reach a wider audience.
The completion of “Street Food” builds on RCRC’s efforts to develop vibrant urban destinations and spaces, revitalize public spaces, enrich the experience of residents and visitors, promote economic activity, and enhance the city’s overall quality of life. These efforts support Riyadh’s ongoing urban transformation and contribute to achieving its development objectives.
