Minister of Islamic Affairs Receives RCRC CEO

His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, received His Excellency Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Sultan, Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), at the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh on Monday.

The meeting explored key areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on mosque construction, architectural design, and the preservation of cultural identity. The participants also watched a presentation highlighting the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s (RCRC) strategic projects and initiatives.

His Excellency Dr. Al Al-Sheikh reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the national leadership’s vision for the development and care of mosques in a manner that reflects the Kingdom’s cultural identity. He also praised the RCRC team for its commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration, noting that such joint efforts support the achievement of strategic objectives in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

In turn, His Excellency Engr. Al-Sultan commended the Ministry’s proactive efforts to strengthen collaboration on initiatives that support the development of mosques and enhance their architectural identity by drawing on the Kingdom’s rich cultural heritage. He also highlighted the Ministry’s issuance of the Technical Guidelines for Mosque Construction and Development, a comprehensive framework developed in alignment with the Saudi Building Code.
