RCRC Organized “Design Thinking for Urban Solutions” Workshop in Collaboration with Riyadh Municipality

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) organized a specialized workshop titled “Design Thinking for Urban Solutions,” featuring representatives from the Riyadh Municipality and key sectors engaged in shared services. This initiative advances government services by strengthening institutional integration, exchanging specialized expertise, and adopting innovative methodologies.

The workshop examined the design thinking framework and its direct impact on public service development. Participants reviewed beneficiary requirements and analyzed the challenges and opportunities associated with developing Riyadh’s urban landscape. Additionally, the event included interactive brainstorming sessions to formulate preliminary concepts for viable solutions and outline actionable next steps.

Representatives from the technology, innovation, geospatial services, urban planning, and data office sectors attended the workshop. This cross-sector participation enriched the discussions and successfully aligned the strategic visions of both entities.
