RCRC Achieves 28% Completion in Construction of Two Bridges Parallel to Wadi Laban Suspension Bridge
As part of the ongoing development of a vital corridor in western Riyadh, construction is progressing on the two bridges parallel to the Wadi Laban Suspension Bridge, under the Main and Ring Road Axes Development Program. The project will improve traffic efficiency and increase capacity along this critical route, which serves more than 400,000 vehicles each day.
With construction reaching 28% completion, the project includes two parallel bridges, each extending 763 meters in length and rising between 161 and 175 meters in height. Supported by four main pillars, the bridges are being delivered through advanced engineering techniques that meet the highest technical and operational standards.
Construction operations utilize specialized equipment and advanced technologies, supported by integrated operational and traffic management plans that ensure uninterrupted traffic flow around the project site. Strict safety and quality procedures are implemented throughout all execution phases, supported by continuous coordination between engineering, operational, and field teams.

Upon completion, the project is expected to reduce travel times by up to 75% and increase the corridor’s capacity by 82%. This will enhance connectivity between western Riyadh and its main transport axes, supporting smoother mobility within a more efficient and sustainable urban transport network.
