A high-level Hungarian delegation led by His Excellency Bence Tuzson, Minister of Justice, visited the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). The delegation was received by RCRC Assistant CEO, Engr. Fahad bin Saleh, and senior RCRC officials.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the RCRC’s central role in shaping Riyadh’s urban planning and development. Discussions highlighted the qualitative transformations underway to position Riyadh as a leading global capital noted for its economic vitality, tourism appeal, quality of life, and cutting-edge infrastructure.

The RCRC presentation detailed strategic initiatives to enhance urban mobility, with emphasis on the Public Transport Network Project, including the Riyadh Metro and bus network, aimed at reducing congestion and improving air quality. Moreover, the presentation focused on RCRC’s digital transformation agenda and creative economy programs designed to boost service efficiency and attract investment.

A key focus of the meeting was Riyadh Expo 2030, which is expected to bring together 197 countries and 29 international organizations, showcasing the Kingdom’s vision for economic diversification, technological innovation, and sustainability.

The visit reinforces the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Hungary to deepen bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in support of sustainable urban development and shared goals.
