The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), in cooperation with the Riyadh Governorate, will host “A Tour in Al-Hukm Palace” event on September 22–23, in celebration of the Kingdom’s 95th National Day.

The event highlights the historic Al-Hukm Palace, a symbol of national heritage that has witnessed more than two centuries of Saudi Arabia’s political and cultural development. Since the era of Imam Turki bin Abdullah Al Saud—may he rest in peace—to the reign of the Kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud—may he rest in peace—who resided in the palace for nearly thirty years, Al-Hukm has stood as the seat of governance, a center of administration, and a place where rulers met with citizens.

A key feature of the event is the “Salman and Riyadh” Exhibition, which presents over seventy rare photographs that document the pivotal role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in leadership and governance across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom. The exhibition also highlights his lasting contributions to Riyadh’s transformation and the foundations he laid for its architectural, cultural, and economic growth.

The event offers visitors a rare opportunity to explore the palace’s halls and suits, including the office of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the office of the Riyadh Governor, the grand reception hall and its adjoining majlis, the main dining hall, and other areas that bring together the authenticity of the past with the dynamism of the present. Dedicated photography spots will also allow visitors to capture and preserve their unique experience inside this historic setting.

Through this initiative, RCRC and the Riyadh Governorate reaffirm their commitment to celebrating the capital’s history, strengthening pride in national identity, and honoring the visionary leaders who shaped its progress.
