RCRC to Host Gipsy Kings, Anoushka Shankar in Two World-Class Concerts

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) is organizing two international musical evenings this September, including Gipsy Kings featuring Tonino Baliardo and world-renowned musician Anoushka Shankar.

The first evening, on Thursday, September 18, will feature the Gipsy Kings, a band famous worldwide for blending Spanish flamenco music with Latin pop.

The second evening, on Saturday, September 20, will showcase the internationally acclaimed artist Anoushka Shankar, one of the most prominent sitar players. Her work is distinguished by its fusion of classical Indian music with contemporary experimentation, creating a unique musical style of her own.

These events are part of RCRC’s commitment to enhancing the cultural scene and expanding interaction with global arts. The initiative contributes to developing the capital’s cultural infrastructure, improving the quality of life for its residents and visitors, and reflecting its growing status as an attractive regional and international cultural hub, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
