Overview
Eng. Khalid directs the Riyadh City Strategy and economic development agendas, alongside overseeing the delivery of city-wide initiatives and projects. He also manages strategy governance and performance tracking, driving alignment and integration across relevant entities to meet Riyadh’s strategic objectives and promote its global competitiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities at RCRC
- Direct strategy management and identify growth opportunities to realize the city’s future aspirations, establishing the frameworks, plans, and mechanisms required for delivery.
- Coordinate strategy execution at the city level and across various sectors, ensuring strict alignment with national objectives.
- Activate governance frameworks to manage decision-making and track initiative delivery, including execution plans, prioritization, and providing implementation support.
- Oversee strategy budget planning, funding requests, financial transfers, cash flow schemes, and initiative savings.
- Manage coordination with relevant entities and stakeholders to unify efforts and ensure integration across different strategies and agencies.
- Support new projects and economic studies that advance strategic priorities.
- Track performance indicators and prepare periodic reports on initiatives, projects, execution plans, and impact measurement indicators.
- Lead change management, monitor challenges, pursue corrective plans, manage potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
